What sort of pure should i make?
suggest stats but want to keep 1def

Pure range is a good start since it builds up your hp faster than any other skill aswell as range. After your range is high, you can start adding the other combats. Magic won't even level your cb. So you'll be overpowered at your combat.

probably 70 range 50 atk 65 str is a realistic good option. but 60 atk 70 str 85 range 85 mage is a good long term goal  owns both multi and single. Just make sure you collect charms for summoning!

60-60-1 Dclaw pure, ags pures are good but claws are just better.

34 pray

dragon darts as normal and g maul as KO weapon
think im gonna try this

80 attack 99 str 1 def 44 pray is ownage. Stay at 60 atk until you're at least 80+ strength though.

70/82 magic + DT done and 80+ range. I dont suggest to rise melee stats, coz they will rise your cb lvl.

For pvp in f2p I suggest; 60 strength - 40 attack - 50 ranged - 25 magic or higher (Cursed!)

For multi in f2p I suggest; 60 ranged - 25 magic (cursed)

P2P varies for what you want to do,
Range/Gmaul
Obby mauler
Gmaul rush
Summ/Tank  <--- ownage!
There are really many different pures in p2p.
