@iDznThanks! The application launches but the 'powerbot' interface is missing when launched from IntelliJ? Is it pretty hard to set up on a mac?

I just followed the tutorial except for the exception with the extra download it was pretty much the same.

Not sure what interface you mean though, all the options are at the top of the screen; File, Script, View, Input and Help are all at the top of your screen to the right of the apple  menu.

If not make sure you've selected the client in the configuration VM options

-Djava.search.path=out -Dcom.jagex.config=http://oldschool.runescape.com/l=en/jav_config.ws -javaagent:"/Users/YOURAREA/LOCATION/rsbot/RSBot-7052.jar"

@iDzn I edited my post with another picture to give more visibility. I'll try just what you posted, thanks.

It looks the same to me, this is mine:

-Djava.search.path=out -Dcom.jagex.config=http://oldschool.runescape.com/l=en/jav_config.ws -javaagent:"/Users/(myname)/Desktop/RSBot/RSBot-7052.jar"

I know there is a missing "C:/" before user but I am on the mac. I typed 'pwd' in the console to retrieve the correct location.

This is what I am seeing when everything loads:

I'm not sure on what's causing it, probably better to wait for @Chris

as when my bot loads up I get 2 additional messages after yours ends.

I didn't do anything different to the video though so I'd try and start again make sure you've not missed anything.

What is your JRE set as when you configure the set up on IntelliJ.

Default.

From the picture you posted, set up is pretty much the same from what I can tell.

what java version are you running?

and that error typically means your javaagent path is wrong, it is case sensitive and what-not

8 144 is fine so it should be the path that is wrong

you have

-javaagent:"/Users/(myname)/Desktop/RSBot/RSBot-7052.jar"

but according to your image it should be

-javaagent:"/Users/(myname)/Desktop/RSbot/RSBot-7052.jar"

(case sensitive)

@Chris Hey, I'm currently trying to set up a fairly simple script that will allow me to chop willow trees and then drop the logs out of my inventory. The problem with this, is that I am somehow messing up this whole process before it even begins. I have no earthly clue where you and everyone else is getting this RSBot-????.jar file from. I don't know if its the application file for the RSBot launcher and I'm just supposed to use that somehow, but when I'm in the "Libraries" of the Project Structure I don't see the RSBot application that I do have in the RSBot desktop folder.. Please send help

Well, I just found out that the MasterChopperOS bot that you have created is exactly what I needed for a bot. Although this solution has been solved, I would still appreciate a response on how to deal with my problem because I would love to get into scripts.

https://powerbot.org/download/

Quite simple.

Two activity classes,

Chop and Drop.

Look at coma's guide on it.

@Chris

Hi! I am trying to get setup in IDEA, but after following all of your steps to the point where you did the test run @5:10. Now when I clicked play I had a popup where it said something about a firewall issue, but after running it again, it fails to replicate that firewall popup and I get a [SEVERE] tag in the console.

[SEVERE] java.lang.NumberFormatException: null
    app.appletviewer.a(Unknown Source)
    jagexappletviewer.main(jagexappletviewer.java:78)

This is what the loader looks like and does not change/load.

Any recommendations? Thank you in advance!

@Chris I probably mistyped what I saw in the video then. Here is what the console spit out:

Config url:http://oldschool.runescape.com/l=en/jav.config.ws
Config URL is http://oldschool.runescape.com/l=en/jav.config.ws
